Brian Bridgeman (on the left with name badge), author and a founding member of
the Swindon Society, was a key organiser of the event. He sadly fell ill later in the evening and died two weeks later.
This was the last picture I took of him. Brian was an inspiration and M&SWJR mentor to me. He will be sorely missed.
