To the north-west is Savernake WWII sidings where an ammunition explosion took place in WWII. To the east is the
Marlborough-Burbage Road which runs through Savernake Forest. To the right of the road was an army ammunion dump.
Pictures of a shelter for the ammunition also follow. Finally, slightly further east is Tottenham House and St Katherine's, where another
ammunition explosion during the 1940's caused extensive damage to the church.
