At the Rotary Club of Swindon Bank Holiday Monday Fair at the Polo Ground in Swindon, just behind where I live, there was a chance to go up in a helicopter. Yes you guessed it, I was first in the queue and asked the pilot to fly to Chiseldon along the route of the old line.
