The 4th Volunteer Brigade of the Manchester Regiment on the down platform after arrival at Ludgershall in 1906. Their train was made up of coaches from the Great Central Railway. The train at the up platform is headed by a Great Western railway loco, probably a "Dean Goods" 0-6-0, that will have worked another troop special through to Ludgershall.
