The first LSWR shed was by the down main line. This shed was replaced with the LSWR shed in 1904 and an MSWJR shed by the up line . A 50 foot turn table was built between the two sheds. It belonged to the LSWR and they charged the MSWJR 1/- a time to turn their locos (one of the drivers told John that fact).
