The line curved north out of Cirencester (see
mark in field) across what is now the dual carriageway and north running parallel with
the Fosse Way until it crossed it. The Fosse Way then traverses north-east with
the line to the left of it also traversing north-east through Foss Cross station and left into Chedworth
in the distance
