Looking east towards where Cuckoo Bridge is now located. The photograph was taken before work was started on the line. The house in the valley was moved up the hill towards the cottage on the left and is now owned by Mr & Mrs M Parsmore and called Mount Pleasant. This photograph was taken some time before the railway was built in 1881.
